So after my husbands short term disability was approved, he had switched to long term disability - so that meant another bit of time waiting to see if it got approved, etc... another bout of having no income.

Well last night our LTD case manager called - it's been approved!! So yes. All is well, for now anyway. We're to be getting a back pay check [dated from Jan. 20th, to Apr. 20th] by Thursday and will be getting a check once a month now. Means a bit of playing around with our bills, but we'll manage just fine.

It's quite the release of stress though, let me tell you. If there's one thing that we've learned through this is that God really does answer prayers. Every time we got to a point where we had nothing left, He came through for us. And for that, I can't help but thank and praise Him.

So to anyone reading this, who's going through a really hard time - remember to pray. It really is worth it.

"The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace." Numbers 6: 24-26
